I live in Budapest and have been to quite a few wine bars, but Parlé quickly became one of my absolute favorites. It’s a small, cozy spot with a beautifully simple interior and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Even if you drop in just for a glass, be warned—you’ll likely end up staying much longer because it feels so good to be there.
You can taste a wide variety of local wines, each served with a little story. Kristóf, one of the owners, is great to talk to—he really knows his wines and the people behind them, so conversations can go as deep as you’d like.
There’s also an excellent cocktail list, so even non-wine drinkers will feel right at home. The space isn’t large, which makes it tricky for big groups, but that intimacy is part of the charm. And don’t leave without trying the house-made rillette—it’s outrageously good and pairs perfectly with the wine.

Fantastic cocktail bar- really quiet and intimate. Bartender was super helpful and friendly. Cocktails were very inventive and there were also some fabulous wines! Would definitely return!

An amazing bar. Chris, the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an amazing wine tasting experience with excellent stories about the local wines and a bonus with spirits as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Budapest. Be sure to ask about the card game they have! Such a fun evening!

Poor choice of wines, even if it’s called a wine bar. 2 out of 3 wines choosed from the list were not availible. Beer taps yes, beer glasses only two. Tip of 10 % automatically on the bill 🙁 There is space for improovment.

Parlé is THE PLACE TO BE in Budapest!!!
I could only recommend Parle for its cocktail selection, wine tasting and its miraculous atmosphere.

A small and cozy bar with a great atmosphere. The drinks were really good. Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit!

A hidden gem in the streets of Budapest! Very ambient and neat bar that is ran by the owner. Great service by him. The drinks are exceptional, beautiful little details in them. Overcame my expectations.
