If you want to enjoy a pure moment of relaxation with a great view of Balaton lake this is the place to be. Next to the Abbey of Tihany , this restaurant is a nice combination of traditional kitchen and modern architecture. We had an outside table and the staff was extremely professional and friendly on helping us to choose our food. As mentioned the view was breathtaking and entire lunch was just great. The portions are generous and think before ordering too much. Sitting outside involve also interaction with nature ( you are at the top of the hill and the bugs are all around especially when you have desert :-) ). The price is similar with Budapest price and is normal in my opinion for quality of food and the view you have. Reserve in advance either via their site either calling directly the restaurant.

Don’t miss the spot in Balaton! A little on the pricey side, but for a reason, the fish here is very fresh & the lavender spritz is to die for. The staff here has always been friendly, and the patio is pet friendly also! Beautiful views of the lake

A wonderful culinary experience with views of lake balaton. Probably some of the best Hungarian dishes I’ve ever had and the location makes it 10 times better. You can’t miss this if you’re in the area

This place is fantastic because of the best view. Also, the waiter that served us (a new guy that started 2 weeks ago) was fantastic! The food on the other end is really nothing special. We ordered a tartare which had the consistency of a spread. I ordered tahini aubergine with cous cous. The aubergine was slightly burned and the cous cous too cold and dry. The salmon that my friend ordered was also very dry apparently.

The view is just amazing! So beautiful! The staff are really kind and the atmosphere is just perfect. The food was actually just okay, my chicken was dry and needed more seasoning. We were 4 and we all got just okay food.

Ordered lunch and a beer. Asked for half a liter, got a half-filled glass with no foam. When I pointed it out, they mockingly brought it back topped with foam. Add in a 15% service fee, inflated prices, and mediocre food—the view is the only thing this place has going for it. Not worth it. P.S attached picture is Lamb stew with red wine. Did not even try the taste but it looks disgusting 🤮

This place seems the best that Lake Balaton has to offer. The view is great and the position as well. Unfortunatley they brought us food that was cooked for few days and reheated which was just terrible. Price are not chea, place deserves a visit especialy in summer, but.. better bring your own food. Also consider booking ahead, even if they don't quite bother to answer their e-mail.

Tasty fish soup, but at all food was like already prepared during the day, just heated up for customers..tasty but could be better. Staff is friendly, and view is really nice!
